Community guidelines
These guidelines sit alongside our terms and apply to every HEAVENLY member in the United Kingdom, whether you post tasks, complete them as an independent tasker or trade through a business account.
Last updated: August 2026
Treat every member with respect
HEAVENLY brings strangers into each other's homes, gardens and vehicles. That only works when everyone behaves professionally, arrives when they said they would and communicates clearly.
- No harassment, threats, intimidation or stalking.
- No discrimination or hate speech based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age or any other protected characteristic.
- No sexual advances, sexual content or requests for sexual services.
- No sharing of another member's photos, address or contact details outside the platform.
Be honest in listings, offers and profiles
Customers must describe the task fully: access, risks, materials, pets, timings and anything that affects the work or the safety of the person attending. Hidden scope is the single biggest cause of disputes.
Taskers must only claim skills, tools, licences and qualifications they actually hold, and must send offers they intend to honour at the standard they promised. HEAVENLY never sets or suggests prices: every offer is the tasker's own commercial decision and every acceptance is the customer's, and our team reviews the result whenever either side is not satisfied.
Work safely and lawfully
Only accept work within your competence, and refuse anything that feels unsafe. Regulated work, including gas, electrical, waste carrying, driving for hire, childcare and care of vulnerable adults, requires the correct UK licence, registration or certification before you offer it.
Report accidents, injuries, damage or any safety concern to HEAVENLY without delay. Stop work immediately if a site becomes dangerous.
What is never allowed
The following will lead to removal from the platform, and where appropriate a report to the police or the relevant regulator.
- Unlicensed regulated work, unsafe gas or electrical work, or unlicensed waste disposal.
- Weapons, controlled drugs, counterfeit goods, adult or sexual services, gambling or pressure-based debt collection.
- Fraud, money laundering, fake documents, identity misuse, or anything intended to deceive a third party or an insurer.
- Multiple or shared accounts, impersonation, or verifying an account with someone else's documents.
- Fake, incentivised or retaliatory reviews, and vote or rating manipulation.
- Scraping, automated account or message creation, or interfering with platform security.
Keep messages and payments on HEAVENLY
Agree scope and price in writing on the platform before work starts, and pay through the platform. Taking a task off-platform removes the records, moderation and dispute support that protect both sides, and is treated as a serious breach.
To protect both parties, phone numbers and other direct contact details are automatically removed from conversations until the customer assigns the tasker. Conversations may be monitored and moderated for safety, fraud prevention and dispute handling.
Cancellations, no-shows and reviews
Late cancellations and no-shows cause real loss to the other party. Cancel as early as you can, explain why in the conversation, and follow the published cancellation rules.
Reviews must be based on genuine, first-hand experience of a completed task and must stay factual. Reviews used as leverage in a payment dispute may be removed.
How we enforce these guidelines
Our team reviews reports and automated moderation signals. Depending on severity, we may edit or remove content, issue a warning, restrict features, hold a payout pending investigation, suspend an account or close it permanently.
Serious safety, fraud or criminal matters are escalated immediately and may be shared with the police, insurers or regulators. If you believe a decision is wrong, reply to the moderation notice and a second reviewer will look at it.
Reporting a problem
Report anything that breaks these rules from the task or conversation itself, or contact our team directly. Include dates, screenshots and the task reference so we can act quickly. If someone is in immediate danger, call 999 first, then tell us.
