Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to every HEAVENLY account — customers, independent taskers and business accounts — across the United Kingdom. Every member approves them when creating an account.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

HEAVENLY (“HEAVENLY”, “the platform”, “we”, “us”) operates an online marketplace in the United Kingdom that introduces customers who need a task completed to independent taskers and business accounts who offer their services.

These terms and conditions form a legally binding agreement between you and HEAVENLY. By ticking the approval box during account creation, you confirm that you have read, understood and accept them, together with our privacy notice and the community and safety rules referenced below.

If you do not accept these terms, you must not create an account or use the platform.

2. Our role: introductions only, never the supplier

HEAVENLY is an introduction and facilitation platform. We are not the employer, agent, partner, subcontractor or supplier of any tasker or business account, and we do not perform the tasks listed on the platform.

Any contract for the performance of a task is formed directly between the customer and the tasker or business account. HEAVENLY is not a party to that contract and gives no warranty about the quality, timing, legality or outcome of any task.

HEAVENLY never sets, recommends or controls prices. Taskers set their own offers and customers decide freely which offer to accept.

3. Eligibility, identity and one account per person

You must be at least 18 years old, legally able to enter into contracts, and resident in or lawfully entitled to work or trade in the United Kingdom.

Every account must pass our mandatory identity check: a valid UK photo ID and a recent proof of address, in your own legal name. Payments and payouts are only released to a name that matches the verified identity.

You must provide accurate, current and complete information, keep only one account, and never impersonate another person or business. Business accounts must hold a genuine UK company registration and be authorised to bind that company.

4. Customer obligations

Describe your task honestly and completely, including access, risks, materials, pets, timing and anything that affects the work or the safety of the person attending.

Provide safe access and a safe working environment, and comply with your own legal duties as an occupier or landlord.

Agree the scope and the price in writing on the platform before work starts, do not ask for work that falls outside the agreed scope without agreeing a new price, and pay the agreed amount through the platform.

Review offers, profiles, badges and ratings yourself and satisfy yourself that the tasker is suitable before assigning the task.

5. Tasker and business obligations

You act as a genuinely self-employed contractor or as a registered business. You control how, when and with what tools you work, and you may accept or decline any task.

You are solely responsible for holding every licence, qualification, registration, certification and insurance required by UK law for the services you offer, including gas, electrical, waste-carrier, driving, childcare or care-related requirements where relevant, and for producing evidence on request.

You are responsible for your own tax and National Insurance, including registering with HM Revenue & Customs and declaring your income. HEAVENLY does not deduct tax on your behalf.

Only perform work within your competence, do not subcontract a task without the customer’s written agreement on the platform, and never carry out work that is unlawful, unsafe or outside the agreed scope.

6. Prohibited tasks and conduct

The platform must not be used for anything unlawful, dangerous or dishonest. This includes, without limitation: work requiring a licence you do not hold, tasks involving weapons, controlled drugs, counterfeit goods, adult or sexual services, gambling, debt collection by pressure, tampering with utility meters, unsafe electrical or gas work, unlicensed waste disposal, unlicensed care of children or vulnerable adults, and anything designed to deceive a third party or an insurer.

Harassment, discrimination, threats, hate speech, sexual harassment, stalking, doxxing, fraud, money laundering and misuse of another member’s personal data are strictly prohibited and may be reported to the police.

You must not scrape, copy, resell or reverse-engineer the platform, interfere with its security, or use automated tools to create accounts, offers or messages.

7. Keeping the relationship on the platform

Payments must be agreed and processed through HEAVENLY. Taking a task off the platform to avoid service fees is a serious breach: it removes the protections, records, moderation and dispute support that both parties rely on, and may lead to immediate suspension.

To protect both sides, phone numbers and other direct contact details are automatically removed from conversations until the customer assigns the tasker. Conversations may be monitored and moderated by HEAVENLY for safety, fraud prevention and dispute handling.

8. Fees, membership and payouts

Customers pay the price they agreed with the tasker. Taskers pay a service fee that is deducted from the task price according to their tier, which is shown on the Tasker Tiers page and inside the account before an offer is sent.

Optional memberships are billed monthly in advance, renew automatically until cancelled, and can be cancelled at any time with effect from the end of the paid month. Fees already paid for a started month are not refundable except where UK consumer law requires it.

Payouts are released to the tasker’s verified bank account after the customer confirms that the task is complete, subject to identity and name-match checks and to any dispute, chargeback or fraud review.

All amounts are in pounds sterling and inclusive of VAT where VAT applies. Each party is responsible for its own tax position.

9. Cancellations, no-shows and refunds

Either party may cancel before work starts, in line with the cancellation rules published on the platform. Late cancellations and no-shows may result in a fee, a rating impact or suspension, because they cause real loss to the other party.

If work has been partly performed, the parties must agree a fair amount for the work actually done. Where the parties cannot agree, HEAVENLY may review the evidence on the platform and make a reasonable decision on the release of funds.

10. Complaints and disputes between members

Because the task contract is between the customer and the tasker, disputes are primarily for those two parties to resolve. You agree to raise any issue promptly and in good faith through the platform messaging, where a written record exists.

HEAVENLY may, at its discretion and without any obligation, assist with mediation, hold or release funds, and take moderation action. Any such assistance does not make HEAVENLY a party to the task contract or liable for its performance.

Nothing in these terms removes a consumer’s statutory rights under UK law, including rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 against the trader who performed the work.

11. Insurance, safety and risk

Taskers and business accounts are responsible for arranging their own insurance, including public liability cover appropriate to the services they offer, and for complying with health and safety law.

Any cover or protection described elsewhere on the platform applies only on the terms of the relevant policy or programme and is not a substitute for the tasker’s own insurance.

Both parties must report accidents, injuries, damage or safety concerns to HEAVENLY without delay.

12. Your content, reviews and our intellectual property

You keep ownership of the photos, descriptions and messages you upload, and you grant HEAVENLY a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and use them for operating, moderating and promoting the platform.

You confirm that you have the right to upload everything you submit, that it does not infringe anyone’s rights, and that it contains no unlawful, misleading or private third-party information.

Reviews and ratings must be honest, based on genuine experience, and free from abuse. Incentivised, fake or retaliatory reviews may be removed.

The HEAVENLY name, logo, design and software are our property and may not be used without our written permission.

13. Personal data

We process personal data as a controller in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, for identity verification, safety, fraud prevention, payments, support and platform improvement.

Your legal name and identity documents are kept confidential and are not shown to other members: other members see only your public display name and your verification badges.

You must use another member’s personal data only to complete the agreed task, and never for marketing, profiling or any other purpose.

14. Liability

The platform is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, a minimum number of offers or tasks, or that any member will be suitable for you.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HEAVENLY is not liable for loss or damage arising from the acts or omissions of any member, the performance or non-performance of any task, or content posted by members.

Where HEAVENLY is found liable to you, our total liability for all claims connected to a task is limited to the service fee we received in connection with that task, and otherwise to £250.

We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify HEAVENLY against any claim, loss, fine or reasonable cost arising from your breach of these terms, your unlawful acts, your performance or non-performance of a task, your tax position, or your infringement of a third party’s rights.

16. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account, remove content, withhold a payout pending investigation, or refuse a verification where we reasonably suspect a breach of these terms, a risk to another member, fraud, or a legal or regulatory requirement.

You may close your account at any time. Obligations connected to completed or ongoing tasks, payments, fees and liability survive closure. We retain records for as long as the law and fraud prevention require.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes in the platform, the law or our operations. Material changes will be notified in the account or by email before they take effect, and continued use after that date is acceptance of the updated terms.

18. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, save that consumers resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland may bring proceedings in their local courts.

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder continues in force. Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it.
